This is the process that we use to build websites on most projects
This is the stage where we gather necessary information about your business, what your goals are, why you need a website, customer demographics, site objectives, competitor analysis, budgets, and other much-needed information to draft the proposal.
After we have gathered and reviewed all the information from the Needs Assessment Meeting, we put together a proposal. Our proposals are very detailed and explain every aspect of the project.
We review the proposal with you step-by-step and make sure you completely understand the process and what we will accomplish for your business. During this meeting, we finalize any points prior to entering into an agreement.
If you are satisfied with the proposal and would like to proceed, we prepare a written agreement of services and payment schedule. Once the agreement is signed, we begin the development stage.
We conduct extensive research on your target market, your industry, your competitors, your existing customers, and much more. This research gives us a better guide to making your site a huge success.
After compiling the results of the Market/Industry Research, we create a custom and strategic Marketing Plan. This plan details how we mean to make your website reach your goals. QUESTION: Should this step be called “Marketing Plan”?
We then write a Creative Brief on how the site will look. This includes a list of all written copy that is going to be needed, images, media, and all other creative aspects of the site.
Now we put all the pieces together and develop your site. There are many steps that have to be taken and you will be kept up to speed through out the whole process by the Project Manager.
After all the pieces are carefully molded together, we present a rough draft format for you to view. From the rough draft, we can get your feedback on what direction you feel we need to go to finish the project.
Based on your recommendations from the rough draft, we complete the design of the site and begin testing. Our testing includes page load speed tests, usability and navigation tests, cross-browser tests, monitor resolution tests, and operating system tests. We make sure all the scripts are working perfectly and every aspect of this site is perfect.
We submit your site to various search engines and complete other necessary search engine optimization.
Based on the Marketing Plan, we set a launch date and begin promoting this date. We also engage in the other, identified marketing initiatives.
This is the most important stage. First, we make sure everything is still working after the site is launched. Then, we gather important information and statistics about the visitors to your site. This tracking gives us an idea of what is working and what isn't. We follow the visitors, path. If we see that they are not reaching what we decided was the goal (e.g., checkout, information inquiry, etc.), then we correct and reanalyze. Our goal is not to get many visitors to your site; our goal is to get many qualified visitors to your site and that these qualified visitors reach the site’s goal.
We compile reports on your marketing campaigns that better help you understand which methods are the most profitable. We then incorporate these results into a long-term marketing plan.
It is important to have fresh content on your site. You want your visitors to keep coming back to your site often. We create a maintenance plan that fits your businesses needs and keeps your site up to date with specials, holidays, news, contact information, and much more.
Content-rich newsletters provide success for businesses. We can maintain your newsletter lists and templates, compile all your newsletters, and send them out efficiently and effectively.
We are here to stay. Once we put our time and effort into developing your carefully planned web solution, we continue to provide you with excellent support and new ideas. When the technology changes or new solutions come into your industry, we want you to be the first to know.
